New Riiiiiihanna! ....and it's on FIRE!

Rihanna - "Disturbia"

Disturbia is rumored to be the next single off the Re-release of her hit album Good Girl Gone Bad. Looks like the 20 year old, Grammy winning Ri-ri has jumped on the synth-pop-train with this tune and we love the sound on her: "bum bum di dum...ohhhohohhhhhh"
It's one of the rare tracks that we love on the very FIRST LISTEN!!

Summer Song Search Continues!

Gimme gimme more hot summer tunes!

Robyn – “With Every Heartbeat (Kleerup Edit)”
http://www.zshare.net/audio/11703742335c6ec8/
Not new in Europe, this tune is finally picking up some steam in the states.

Michelle Williams – “We Break the Dawn (Lost Daze Club Mix)”
http://www.zshare.net/audio/1084823626fc010b/
The quiet, third member of Destiny Child is climbing the charts quickly with this single. It’s already getting lotsa club play.

Madonna – “Give it to Me (Paul Oakenfold Mix)”
http://www.zshare.net/audio/1107038802930dac/
After the 90 second interlude this song becomes far better than the original.

Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown – “No Air (Tiesto Edit)”
http://www.zshare.net/audio/10392683866714cf/
Last years American Idol (and because this list wouldn’t be complete without something Tiesto).

Miley Cyrus – “See You Again (Johnny Coppola Radio Edit)”
http://www.mediafire.com/?1jfgumlkend
This song is already everywhere. It’s suspiciously reminiscent of Corey Hart’s 1983 hit, “I Wear My Sunglasses at Night.”

Britney Spears – “Break the Ice (Soulseekerz Edit)”

Song of the Summer 2008 - Let The Search Begins!!

In '98 it was Brandy and Monica "The Boy is Mine," in '05 it was Mariah's "We Belong Together" and last summer – yes, "Umbrella-ella-ella." The endless speculation over what this years "Song of the Summer" will be is starting to get to me – "and no, no, no, 'Bleeding Love' was released last winter!" This speculation in conjunction with my superior taste in music has led me to create a summer music preview.

Most of these singles are brand new or unreleased leaks from upcoming albums.

I hope you find something you love! And let me know what I'm missing in the comments section!

Duffy – "Mercy (featuring The Game)"

http://www.zshare.net/audio/1221912689408c25/
Duffy is the blonde, sober carbon copy of Amy Winehouse - her first name is also Amy, she's Welch and she's full-up on the soulful sounds. This is the official hip-hop mix since I figure many of you already have the original on repeat :)

The Pussycat Dolls - "When I Grow Up"
http://www.zshare.net/audio/121827767e393f69/
This Rodney Jerkins-produced track will be released commercially on 5/27. It's a sure-fire hit, arguably my favorite on this list – I already have the lyrics memorized and you should too!

Coldplay – "Violet Hill"
http://www.zshare.net/audio/11341666c8b75a24/
The first single off their new album due out 6/17. I want a remix!

Katy Perry – "I Kissed a Girl (And I Liked It)"

http://www.zshare.net/audio/123744771db54cdd/
If Lucille Ball had a love child with Queen's Freddie Mercury, it would look, sound, and behave like this L.A-based singer-songwriter. Already praised by Madonna and Perez…and me! The video's hot too - album drops 6/17!

Annie - "I Know Your Girlfriend Hates Me (Get Shakes Remix)"
http://www.zshare.net/download/1171893101b2abdb/
The first single off Annie's new album, this catchy song's remix has leaked before the original version. It's like cotton candy flavored bubblegum to my ears! (It helps that she's Norwegian!)

Alanis Morissette – "Underneath (Josh Harris Club Mix)"
http://www.zshare.net/audio/120471463d5d360b/
The first single from her upcoming album. Critics say it's her best work since "Jagged Little Pill."

Solange (a.k.a. Beyonce's younger sister) - "I Decided (Freemasons Edit)"
http://www.zshare.net/audio/12363706e47a9dda/
Some critics say Solange's new album is better than Beyonce's last. Time will tell!

Regina Spektor - "The Call (Theme from the new Prince Caspian Narnia movie)"
http://www.zshare.net/audio/1237487495ee6c13/
Slow. Gripping. Disney.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!
